I am a 36 years old, ordinary mother of two children who wants to achieve financial stability for my family. Due to the trouble and hardships that my former family has, I have a concept in mind to try on having a business. When my parents died, I met my live-in partner, a low income earner. Several years I find him alcoholic. I quit my job when I got my first son. When we got the inheritance share of our parents property, I invested the money in opening up a sari-sari store, a video sinko and a small Carinderia to were we live and had major repairs to the house of my husband for room rentals. At certain point, things didn’t get well as expected. I had even borrowed money from my brother and sister to fund more of my capital. Things happened so fast. When I got my second son all that I have invested with were foreclosed to prioritize their needs. As of the moment, no one are looking for rentals. Now, I felt stuck and couldn’t do more but to take care of my two sons. I got my previous loan passed due earning surcharges and penalties. I tried to re-loan but I am not qualified as I don’t have any collateral to present with. I learned a lot of lessons to life and finances. I worry so much as to how we will be able to live a life and pay for our bills as my husband only earns enough for our daily needs. I couldn’t borrow more from my brother as he has his cyst treatment and from my sister that was recently affected by typhoon Hagibis. I felt a struck of bad luck as everything turned so bad. I am frustrated and hopeless until I discover these fund raising online. I wish to grab this as an opportunity of good luck for me to re-start and get a life. I planned to continue or re-open for this coming 2020. This time I will be setting up my business with a new twist instead of having a sari-sari store which is common in our place. I will re-open it into a cafe having to serve drinks and food. If I met to raise funds here as capital, I may then be able to hire people to take care of my child and to help me run my business. If I partially met my target then I will just have some amount to pay for my incurring loan and give some to my brother to continue his medication. If target exceeds, it will be of great help as a solid capital foundation. I am hoping for the success of this campaign. Thank you.
